WhatsApp is about activating the ‘delete for everyone’ feature on its app, one move many have said would help save a lot of relationships.
According to WABetaInfor, the tech company is currently testing the feature for both Android and iOS devices.
“WhatsApp is finally testing the “Delete for Everyone” feature. The server finally works and it successfully recalls the message. Also if the server works, this does not mean that the feature is currently enabled,” the WABetaInfor says.
“It will be remotely enabled later, and seen that WhatsApp “enabled” their servers for the Delete for Everyone feature. It may really be enabled soon.”
Though, WhatsApp is not the first messaging app company to consider message reversal feature on its app. This feature is currently on some messaging apps like Viber and Telegram.
With this, a lot of people would be saved from embarrassment and unpleasant events that follow sending a wrong and error-filled messages.
This feature is already on WhatsApp’s beta version for Windows mobile devices.
