Chelsea Snub Lukaku As He’s Heading To LA For medical Ahead Of Man United Move

Chelsea snub  Romelu Lukaku is reportedly having his medical in Los Angeles ahead of completing his £75million transfer deal to Manchester United.

The Belgium international is edging closer to joining the Red Devils in a shock move after being strongly linked with a return to former club Chelsea for much of the summer.

The Everton strongman he is on holiday with Manchester United’s record signing Paul Pogba, who has the same agent as the 24-year-old Belgium international.

According to the Guardian Manchester United now hope they can conclude a deal for Lukaku on Sunday when they arrive in the city to start their pre-season tour of America.

Premier League second highest goal scorer Lukaku, who is set to sign a five-year contract worth more than £200,000 a week in the next 48 hours, intends to link up with his former manager Jose Mourinho and his Manchester United squad when they fly to LA on Sunday for a pre-season tour.

It is understood that Pogba has been influential in Lukaku turning his back on a return to Chelsea three years after leaving Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku scored 26 goals in all competitions last season and looks ideal for Jose Mourinho’s side’s needs after being overly reliant on Zlatan Ibrahimovic last season.
